The Good News Is....God will provide. As I was planning for Christmas this year, I was planning with a limited amount of resources. Then my son, who at the last minute told me he in fact wanted a big 13th birthday party! I looked at my budget and it could get done but it was going to be tight. As I was writing it out, instead of stressing, I said the words, "Lord you've got this". Let me tell you, He actually had it! A few days later, I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone and she said I want to send you some money. She went on to say how she was blessed unexpectedly and wanted to give me half of what was given to her! Her blessing allowed me the freedom to breathe.
Although I did not know how God would provide, I had the expectation and I used the words, "Lord, you've got this." I know this season can be difficult for several reasons. But I encourage you today and in the seasons to come, have the expectation that God will provide you with what you need. If it's peace, He's got it ((Philippians 4:6-7) . If it's joy, He's got it (Psalms 28:7). If it's love, you're covered there as well (Ephesians 3:18-19).
