This is Your Time to Live!
2024, time again for the Church of Jesus Christ to come together and Celebrate The Life, Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus. One of my favorite songs sung during this season is:
Because He Lives, I Can Face Tomorrow,
Because He Lives All Fear is Gone,
Because I know Who Holds my Future and
Life is Worth the Living Just Because He Lives
And you know as I was singing this song, a line from the lyrics struck me like a stick. And Life is Worth The Living Just Because He Lives. Live is Worth what? Living.
He Lives but Do We Live
The more I sang that part of the song, the more it hit me, it's true. Life is Worth Living, except few people in life ever learn to live. Most people in life find themselves caught up in their own heads, thinking about their lives and all the things they'd like to change or become. Then the failures and the heartaches all surface. The feelings of being trapped in the existence of constant situations and circumstances. And instead of living they wind up pleasing. We inadvertently become passive participants in our own lives.
The Good News is - It's time to Live.
The past cannot be changed, but it can be redeemed. The Spirit of Resurrection Empowers us to Rise and Live. Our God is a God of redemption and restoration.
No matter how far you have fallen from how you thought life was supposed to be for you, it's in the past, the resurrection of Christ gives you a future and a hope you can count on and trust in.
The Love of Christ is lavish and all-encompassing and sets you free from the hurts and abuse of the past.
So what things haven't worked out for you, Let God's Love overflow, both to you and through you—let it be fully unleashed in your life.
Become an active participant in your life.
Be You, Do You,
The Good News is The Resurrected Jesus lives in you and His power is waiting to be actively at work in you.
To live is Christ. Anything else is just aimless existence.
This Year, Break Out of Your Self-Imposed Limitations
You have been anointed to release life-giving power. Learn to speak the words of Spirit and Life, into "Your Life".
Say ‘Yes!’ to the Father’s plans for your life. It is a new day and it is time for you to Live. Move forward with your head held high.
Allow the Power of the resurrection to rise up on the inside of you.
Decree and Declare life over your family and relationships, your career, your church, your ministry but never leave yourself out!
You are Here For Purpose, On Purpose, With Purpose.
Refuse to settle for anything less than what Jesus has fully paid for. He died that you might Live.
Yes, Life abundantly belongs to you. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you, and let nothing hold you back.
Not even yourself. You are created in the Image of God and meant to Live and Spread his Light and Joy.
Live like Christ died for you to Live
‘And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.’
