Waiting: the act of remaining in place or postponing action until a specific time or event occurs.
As a child, I always found this concept frustrating. However, with maturity, we come to understand that waiting isn’t necessarily negative; it often serves our safety, protection, or personal growth.
As a believer, I never want to move before God. I want my heart to line up with his will, so I wait for His guidance. There are times where my initial reaction is not as humbling but I quickly remember to hold onto the promise found in Isaiah 40:31: those who wait (put their trust and hope) in God will renew their strength. Therefore finding assurance in His presence.
The Good News Is…God has given you strength in the wait! So, in the wait, choose to worship, and praise God because our trust is in Him. While you are waiting, remind yourself of His promises and seek His righteousness, knowing that everything else will follow. Psalm 31:24 reinforces this belief assuring that strength will come to those who wait upon the Lord - “Be strong, and He will strengthen your heart, all who wait for the Lord”
I encourage you today, keep waiting, for God is faithful and His promises are true. Strength is found in the wait, and His word will be fulfilled.
Have a beautiful day ♥️
