Today I feel led to pray. Having a prayer life between you and the Father is so essential in your walk with Christ. Prayer is where we align ourselves with God’s will; the place we find strength, hope, and receive guidance; prayer brings us closer to God. There are so many additional benefits of developing a prayer life. James 5:16 tells us the effectual (producing an intended result) fervent (displaying intense passion) prayer of the righteous (right with God) availeth (make use of) much.
In other words, a passionate and sincere prayer from a righteous person can be powerful and effective. This verse motivates us to cry out God because He uses our prayers to bring a change. The Good News Is…prayer changes things!
Don’t get stuck on the word righteous. The first part of the scripture tells us to “confess our sins…”When we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness, God no longer sees the sin, we are now in right standing (righteous) with God. We are presented faultless before His presence (Jude 1:24).
Prayer is the change agent for your life, your community, your church, this nation, and globally.
Jesus teaches us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13, also known as The Lord’s Prayer.
So today, become the change you desire to see. Start praying and keep praying. God loves when we pray to him.
Have a beautiful day ♥️
